Reading Time: 7 minutesMost people think about prayer like a kind of slot machine. You put your coin in, pull the handle, and hope for the best. Nothing you do can change the outcome and when your prayer isn’t answered it’s not a big surprise. But if you actually stop to look at what the Bible says about prayer you’ll be shocked to discover that the Bible talks about prayer like it’s a sure thing, a certainty, a guarantee. The Bible pictures prayer as something more like a garden. It’s a sure thing, everyone can have a garden, but it requires effort on our part.
