Fellowship of The King

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Some really interesting programs over at Ken Copeland’s daily program this week. Hosted by Gloria Copeland and Billye Brim, who always has a different perspective on things, they’ve been talking about, "Walking in the Light." Monday Billye started off with a really interesting story of a vision that Sister Grace (I’ve heard her mentioned before but don’t know anything about her and a quick Google yielded no results.) had related about the last days and the glorious church. Sister Grace said that in this vision she saw the church rising up as a glorious church. On Tuesday Billye shared some more about Sister Grace’s vision and portions of message Sister Grace had sent to some ministers about the circumstances in which she received the vision and Billye talked about the meaning of fellowship and that in order to walk in true fellowship we must understand that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. Really, really interesting stuff.

Two things I got from the programs:

1. Sister Grace’s vision of the glorious church agrees with what I’ve been thinking about "Blackbelt" Christians. There is so much more to Christianity than going to heaven when you die. There is growing up into the fullness of Christ. The Church has a whole seems to spend most of it’s churning, i.e. not doing anything but doing nothing with a great deal of effort and fanfare. God wants us to grow up to show forth His Kingdom/His will on the earth. Christianity is supposed to do something.

2. Billye’s really brief discussion of fellowship was really powerful. Fellowship is partaking and partnering with God. That’s the same way Jesus uses the phrase Kingdom of God in the gospels. The power of God showing up and members of God’s movement. Both of those things are what he means by the "kingdom of God."

You should really check it out. The programs are available online in several different formats. You can even download the video in Windows Media File to your computer, it’s about 50 mb an audio version is also available. Here’s the link.

  1. Rev. Mel C. Montgomery

    Hi,
Sister Billye was referring to Clara Grace, a prophet of some years ago. There’s a tiny bit of info on her on the internet. One of her sermons is available on casset tape or CD through the Flower Pentecostal History Museum in Springfield, MO.
    Kind Regards,
    Mel
